Back at the starting line…

Hey all,

I’ve been away for a while, first Christmas then the dreaded exam season, sorry not sorry.

If you are reading this, that means I am back and posting. Over the past week or so I’ve had my first chance to sit down, reflect and plan. I’ve had a chance to decide what I want 2015 to be for me in terms of resolutions, projects, dreams etc.

Most of what I’m writing about today is related to this blog, in the future I have a business venture / exciting challenge that I want to embark on and you’ll hear about that on a later date (#staytuned).

My dad send me an article for the Daily Telegraph’s top 5 coffee gizmos. Sad to say I wasn’t very impressed with the list, it was just so random! The only thing that I can agree with is the Aeropress because they are a top coffee gadget, still not enough to redeem the list. I was so annoyed at this list I decided to make my own!

It’s getting pretty close to christmas (only a week) !! – So, if you haven’t got round to buying your coffee-loving-friends a gift then THIS is your chance!

10 Need To Know Tips for Freshers 

So I wrote this article about a year ago after finishing my foundation year and having experienced living in halls. I can remember back to this time last year as the final preparations, lists, IKEA and shopping trips played out.

This is a list of things I can recommend to people heading to university / college this term. As the first couple of months of university life played out there were a few items I kept exclaiming “This is so useful!” It isn’t an exhaustive list so feel free to comment below and help a fellow fresher (or student) out with some of your advice!!

I’ve been a bit lazy…

Photo Update – So over summer i’ve been shooting loads of photos on my DSLR camera. I shoot in a format called RAW which has many bonuses to shooting the standard JPEGs. All you need to know is that RAW photos require processing on the computer, ( I could go in to JPEG vs RAW another time.)  I’m currently in June, above is one of many photos from my trip to Moldova.
